Upon entering, you may think the space is small….but the flavor of the pizza, the thought put into the wine, and the personality and heart of this staff is HUGE. The Meatballer and Pepperoni pizzas were both delectable—and the crust of course fantastic! We enjoyed the Folicello. Will be back to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail next time.

This hidden gem in the area offers absolutely delicious pizza. We can’t wait to return and savor it again. The restaurant is small, so parking can be challenging if the other stores are busy. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by the sight of their oven-roasted pizzas being made and the fresh ingredients. Their homemade Caesar salad is simply fantastic.

This was me and my boyfriends first time ordering from here so we decided to order a margherita pizza. What we ended up getting is the saddest, most pathetic pizza I’ve ever seen. Pizza is TINY, dough is flavorless, sauce is absolutely disgusting. And then they had the audacity to just throw a couple of little spinach pieces on top. A margherita pizza is supposed to have sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, basil and oil. This pizza is just sauce, a thin layer of yellow cheese with wilted spinach on top. Is this a joke? The positive reviews HAVE to be a joke. Complete waste of money. Never again.

Excellent experience and food!!! It is a quaint and very homey atmosphere. The pizza was absolutely delicious! I’m a huge fan of sourdough and Sour Street’s did not miss! We also ordered the Caesar salad with anchovies- also incredible. Every single staff member checked in to ask how things were and the manager even stopped by our table to chat which I feel like rarely happens nowadays. We will be back! 😍👌🏻

I checked Sour out in East Beach Norfolk for the first time in March. I really liked them, but did not return until recently. In my opinion they offered an excellent wood fired pizza that rivaled what I’ve had in the area. My order of a Veggie, pepperoni and prosciutto & arugula was placed over the phone. The staff was awesome over the phone once I came back from hold. Just before Christmas they were very busy! The timetable was 20-25 minutes for pick up. I arrived about five minutes ahead. The woman who I talked with checked me out. You can tip on a card. Another gentleman said I was next up, then a few minutes later I got a push text “order ready”. However, one of the pies was a bit overdone their standards. So they asked to remake it. The dining rooms had customers on a Tuesday before Christmas. The staff hustled! They offer beer and wine to in-house and take out. The replacement pizza was whipped out in around 5-7 minutes. They also included the other pie no charge. They apologized for the delay. Got the pies home to the family other delight trying a new place. The wood fired pizzas were a smash hit, especially the pepperoni. I personally thought the veggie was amazing. My
